We are excited to present our first in-store pop-up; an experiential space designed by Creative Director and Founder, Liam Bowden, to showcase and celebrate our design lab, D LY P. With a high-octane installation, the concept space takes inspiration from the freewheeling summers of the ‘90s in a collision of colour seen across the capsule.
“We wanted to create an experience to celebrate the arrival of Spring, curating a scene of euphoric escapism for the urban woman. The pop-up aesthetic takes cues from the D LY P collection, with particular emphasis on the hand-sprayed custom gradient we have developed for our Pre-Fall capsule, defacing our ladylike silhouettes” says Liam Bowden.
Born to creatively challenge Deadly Ponies’ founders, D LY P is defined by playful structures, bold colour palettes and internationally inspired silhouettes. In feature materials such as luxe satin, high-gloss croc-embossed textures and matte pop colours, the D LY P Pre-Fall ‘20 collection continues to push boundaries, blurring the lines between accessories and art expression. With a colour palette euphoric of Barbie zeitgeist, the collection explores hues of azure, raspberry, and bordeaux, with graffiti inspired gradients - along with classics midnight, camel and dove.
Predominantly available in North American and British stockists such as Selfridges, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodmans and Shopbop, this is the first time the complete collection has been available in-store in New Zealand.
The pop-up space will be available to experience in Deadly Ponies Ponsonby between 1st October - 4th November 2020, before moving to Britomart, and finally travelling to our stockist, Sisters & Co in Mount Maunganui.
