It seems fitting that a New Zealand brand built on creative ingenuity would turn to the most humble form of lettering as inspiration a new brand identity.
Monospace fonts were used in early computers and computer terminals with limited graphical ability where the letters occupy the same amount of horizontal space. As a typeface they are an acknowledgement of Deadly Ponies’ philosophy of constrained design.
Together with the inimitable designers Kelvin Soh and Seb McLauchlan, Deadly Ponies welcomes in an international face to the brand and fresh visual aesthetic.
