Mr Hoiho

In collaboration with Forest & Bird, Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading independent conservation organisation.

Introducing Mr Hoiho, a limited-edition bag honouring the hoiho yellow-eyed penguin, a species unique to Aotearoa and one of the world’s rarest. With numbers continuing to decline, scientists predict the hoiho could disappear from mainland Aotearoa within 10–20 years without urgent conservation action.

Inspired by the hoiho’s distinctive colouring and handcrafted from past-season leather offcuts, Mr Hoiho reflects our zero-waste ethos and commitment to working exclusively with fully traceable, Leather Working Group certified hides.

25% of proceeds from each bag will be donated directly to Forest & Bird, supporting vital conservation work to help protect hoiho and other seabirds across Aotearoa.
